Title: Winter Retreat – Harmonizing with the Seasons with Jim Thomas, M.Ac
Location: Samara Healing Center
Register: Click here
Description: The changes brought about by the passing seasons offer an opportunity for each of us to tune in to these subtle movements within ourselves. Each season calls to us with a unique message and healing opportunity. Join us for a day of stillness in the spirit of the winter season and water element. We will align ourselves with this transition through meditation and deep breathing, stillness yoga, dreamwork, guided imagery and a seasonal acupuncture attunement. This will be a day of going within, allowing us to be nourished by silence and tapping in to our own deep, healing reserves.
Please bring your lunch. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing; bring a journal, yoga mat, blanket, pillow and eye shade. Also bring a recent dream if you can, or if you are able to retrieve one, write a short imaginative first person story.
